Libya: a Sad Day | KABOBfest

  1. The Western rush to support the Libyan armed-revolution was not a surprise to anyone. Libya is oil-rich, and Qaddafi, the dictator, was a serious obstacle to getting to that oil for so many years, and even after he had signed contracts with BP and Shell and others, he was still viewed as an unstable business partner who might flip at any given time. The real test of new Libya’s success as a democracy will be in how fast the “foreigners” get out of the way, and in who truly ends up controlling Libya’s major industries.
The way Qaddafi was treated and killed in his last minutes are not a good indication of how civilized the new Libya is going to be, and they are certainly no cause for celebration. Regardless who is celebrating who’s death, the act of celebrating a death in itself reveals a severe lack of intelligence and humanity.Muslim people of Libya ..your barbaric act against defendless Gadaffi put an end to Democracy..shame on you as Muslim ....!!!!
